🚨 Short story alert: Sunday Funday has been my favorite day of the week for years. Growing up in the bar industry since I was 18 it was my favorite day of the week because most of the time as a bartender it’s your first day off from a long weekend. Many of y’all may not know but yes I actually use to bartend many moons ago lol. Fast forward to me buying Hills and Dales I thought this is the perfect space to do what I imagined would be the perfect Sunday Funday. Right out of the gate we crushed the very first Sunday and I knew that we were on to something special. I had @indianageorge3 as our special guest and we had the giant beer pong, some fun bags, great music, sunshine (not nearly as hot as it is now), and a great staff that was full of energy and hospitality. Fast forward 5 years later we had to take away the beer pong to create more space for customers as we grew more and more popular, still have the fun bags and beautiful, high energy staff and a WHOOOOOLE lot more people lol. So I just want to thank you San Antonio for showing your support to a kid who just had a dream and never imagined it would be what it is today. I also want to give my staff a special shoutout because without them I ain’t shit. Thank y’all for always believing in me. And our DJ’s…. Where do I start? Y’all have been the backbone of this operation and continue to listen to my crazy ideas and continue to go above and beyond week after week. 🥂 here’s to the next 5, Thank you San Antonio 🫶🏻
